Machicolation: a machicolation has stone bases which they use to drop heavy substances onto the enemy. These were just like hoards but the hoards were wooden and machicolations were stone . They were like rock tubes or holes where they dropped rocks ( heavy substances ) hot water and oil and even drop manure on you! If any of these hit you ( especially on the head you would die because of the force of the thing dropped.
